I and my group sat on the hill above the start gate below the parts unlimited tent. The PU tent closed off all but a narrow space thru the dunlop hill tunnel to the turn 2 tunnel by the award stage. With no marked area for traffic flow we found what we regular fans had left open was filled by late fans this caused a continuous flow of foot traffic thru the crowd. My son was stepped on and had his posters bent and everything we has was completely covered in dust. I do expect some of this but the fan disregard for others was too much. I do place some blame on the facility since it allowed the sponsor to create the problem with no solution. I know sponsors are needed and very much supported by the fans but a little corridor with a patrol to clear the corridor of fans would go along way to make this great race much more enjoyable to all. Once again the traffic after the race was very much improved.
